Titans sharp shooters named in Queensland teams

Three Gold Coast Titans netballers have been selected to play for Queensland at next year’s National Netball Championships (NNC).

Selectors have named the final 16-player squads for both the under-17 and under-19 state sides.

Sapphire Series player Talitah Faifai heads the representation with selection in the under-19 team, where she will be joined by her new team-mate Tia Crombie.

Joining the Titans for the State Titles, Crombie will line up for the Titans in the state league competition next season.

The two shooters will pair together for Queensland first, with the young duo having the potential to form a lethal combination.

In the under-17 side, it's another Titans shooter who has been selected with Roxanne Rhind named to play in the maroon dress.

Making her Ruby Series debut in 2023, Rhind was part of the Titans EPL winning side on the Gold Coast.

She will make the move to join the Ruby squad full-time in 2024.

Selectors will name the final 12 athletes plus training partners in February for each squad ahead of next year’s NNC, at a date and venue to be announced.
