iSelect Titans forward Ryan James recorded his first hole in one on the golf course today, with several Titans mates there to witness the milestone.
Big Ryan achieved the feat in the fifth at Palm Meadows where he had to hit over water and steep bunkers to find the green.
The impressive thing is that he hit a pitching wedge with the hole 165 metres from the tee – although he had a hefty wind behind him.
He was playing in the midweek competition and the club will have the ball framed for him as a memento.
Well done Ryan, that’s a piece of Titans folklore that will be told many times before the start of next season.
