Greg Bird will become the 13th player to record 100 NRL games for the Gold Coast Titans when he runs out against the Penrith Panthers this Saturday (3pm) at Cbus Super Stadium.

It will be Bird’s 206th NRL appearance but he cracks the century mark for the Titans who he joined in 2010.

He is only the 18th player to play 100 games for two clubs, after recording 106 appearances for the Sharks.

He will take his place in the side that includes Beau Falloon at hooker after coach Neil Henry put the durable hooker straight back into the No. 9 jersey after missing the past two matches through suspension.

Eddy Pettybourne took an early guilty plea on the grade one careless high tackle charge for a tackle on Eels prop Darcy Lussick last Saturday and will miss the match. Agnatius Paasi returns to a five-man bench to take Pettybourne’s place.

The Titans’ centurions are: Mark Minichiello 173, Luke Bailey 150, William Zillman 128, Scott Prince 124, Ashley Harrison 117, Kevin Gordon 113, David Mead 113, Matthew White 112, Preston Campbell 103, Anthony Laffranchi 102, Luke O’Dwyer 101, Nathan Friend 100.
