Daniel Mortimer will return from a wrist injury on the interchange bench as a utility player in the team selected today to travel to Canberra to take on the Raiders this Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Mortimer has been missing since the round three clash with the Knights and his position has been filled by Kane Elgey who retains his position.

With Greg Bird absent as he challenges the grading of a dangerous throw charge, Lachlan Burr will wear the No. 13 jersey and Dave Taylor returns from his one-match suspension to counter for Bird’s absence in the back row.

Beau Falloon is sidelined with a shoulder injury suffered early in the round eight victory against the Warriors, so Kierran Moseley is the starting hooker.

In the other change to the team that beat the Warriors, Queensland Residents representative Mark Ioane replaces fellow Kiwi Matt Robinson on the bench. Fellow Maroons Residents rep Davin Crampton has been named as 18th man as he moves closer to an NRL debut after some good consistent form with the Tweed Heads Seagulls.
