A gathering of Titans went out on the high seas yesterday searching for their big catch of fish. How did they go?
Seven players and coach Neil Henry went our reef fishing with Equinox Fishing Charters this morning on a half-day charter. Players: Greg Bird, Tyrone Roberts, Ash Taylor, Nathan Davis, Nathan Friend, Cameron Cullen and Ryan Simpkins.
We had a bit of a State of Origin theme on overall catch and let's just saw it was an honourable, low scoring draw. Birdy got the first catch, Nathan Davis got the biggest and it's best said that we hope that our goalkicking halves Roberts and Taylor have better form landing goals on Saturday against the Eels than landing fish today!
We went into extra time but there was no golden point (or fish) landed.
