Blake Austin’s career has certainly blossomed at Canberra where he appears to have finally found a home. Half of his 66 NRL appearances over six seasons have been for the Raiders since joining them for the 2015 season.

Tyrone Roberts also seems to have fitted in well with the Titans since switching from Newcastle this season and can take his career to the next level here. There he was in the shadow of Jarrod Mullen and Kurt Gidley but he has blossomed and taken on a mentoring role with Ash Taylor on the Gold Coast.

Both players are dangerous runners when they take on the line with their show-and-go and step and are proving good foils for their halfback partners. Austin is particularly dangerous from 20 metres or less where his deceptive pace and step come into play. He will be one of the Titans’ real threats tomorrow.
