Aquis Gold Coast Titans Coach Neil Henry has today confirmed the squad that will compete in the Downer NRL Auckland Nines this weekend at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand.
Henry has selected a 19-man squad with 18 to be available for each game. The first of those matches will be against reigning NRL Premiers, Cronulla Sharks (Saturday, 9am (local GC time)), before a clash with the Bulldogs (Saturday, 1.20pm (local GC time)). The third pool match will take place on Sunday against the Panthers (8.00am local GC time) which if able to qualify, will be followed by the finals that afternoon.
NRL regulars Anthony Don, Kane Elgey, Jarryd Hayne, Ryan James, Chris McQueen, Leivaha Pulu and Tyrone Roberts have all been chosen along with a number of young up and coming squad members who will be looking to put their name forward for NRL selection during 2017.
Members and fans will get to see a number of new recruits in action, including Daniel Vidot who only arrived at the club earlier this year.
NYC squad members Alexander Brimson and Tyronne Roberts-Davis have also been included in the squad which will help their development ahead of the upcoming regular season.
