Centre Konrad Hurrell believes his side will need to turn up with their A-game on Friday night at Cbus Super Stadium if they are to register a win over the undefeated Parramatta Eels.
The Tongan born centre admits the side is going through a tough period but he has faith in the squad members around him.
“Obviously we’re a bit disappointed after last week,” Hurrell said. “We’re coming up against a good team and we’ll have to bring our a-game.
“We need to stick to the game plan for the whole 80 minutes. We need to stick to the plan the coaches give us.”
With an injury list that currently stands at 11, the opportunity then presents itself for other members in the squad and on this occasion it is 22-year-old Tyler Cornish who will become Titans player number 120 on Friday night.
“I know he’s really looking forward to it. He had a really good pre-season and performed well at the nines. I’m looking forward to getting some good balls from him.”
Possibly Hurrell’s biggest test on Friday night will come from his opposite combination when he has the in-form Michael Jennings and Semi Radradra coming at him.
“They are both good players and we’ll really need to work with our edges and get that sorted out. Hopefully we can match it with them.”
