New recruit Dale Copley hasn't wiped the smile off his face this week ahead of what will be his club debut when the Titans take on the Cowboys this Saturday night at Cbus Super Stadium.
Copley arrived at the club last Wednesday and whilst disappointed to have the NRL deny his opportunity to play last week, he's excited to be able to get out there on Saturday night.
"I am very excited," Copley said. "I was ready this time last week but being from south-east Queensland, lots of family will be here so it'll be good."
Although not out on the field, the 25-year-old knows how important it was for the club to get their first win of the season last week.
"It was a really good win as weel. It's always important to get that first one and i think it's been a good confidence boost for all involved."
The Aspley junior is now keen just to get out on the field after finally striking a deal that saw him land at the Titans, close to three months after the topic was initially raised.
"It all came as a bit of a relief. Whilst it was happening in the background it ended up happening quite quickly.
"I had a really good pre-season where I didn't have any injuries so I'm feeling as good as I ever have."
