Fullback Jarryd Hayne has today spoken to the media ahead of the match against the Bulldogs on Saturday at Cbus Super Stadium.

Hayne has been the centre of attention and wanted to talk to the media instead of his team-mates answering questions on his behalf.

"The first thing is probably that an allegation of a falling out with Neil is completely flase," Hayne said. "We never had an argument and that's why i probably wanted to come out here today and speak to you."

The 30-year-old knows the season hasn't been ideal but there have been many factors that have contributed to that.

"From an outside back perspective we haven't been able to get a lot of fluency and we've had a lot of changes there. We haven't had a set spine and that really hurt us as well.

"The last two games, I've been disappointed in myself, mentally I wasn't there and that's something that I pride myself on."

Hayne is trying to look forward and wants to get back out on the field this week after missing the last match due to an ankle injury.

"There's not much I can do now but we've got our last home game here at Cbus, in front of our home fans, that's something that we're focused on."
