Prop forward Jarrod Wallace knows the importance of the forward pack this weekend when the Titans tackle the Panthers, in Sydney.
Wallace started his season late due to suspension but after a first up hiccup against the Dragons, the Titans have been able to put back to back wins together against the Broncos and Sea-Eagles.
The Runaway Bay junior has taken a look at his opponents for this weekend and can see the damage they could cause.
“They’ve got a big mobile pack, starting with Reagen Campbell-Gillard and others,” Wallace said.
“if we don’t stop them they’ll get a roll on. (Tyrone) Peachey is playing good footy and (James) Maloney has fit in well.”
Whilst three wins in a row would be great, Wallace is looking for consistency more than anything.
“That’s the plan (to get the win). From a team point of view we want to be consistent and a win would be good but the Panthers are playing good footy and if we’re not on our game we’ll get hurt.”
With Captain Ryan James out of the side due to suspension, the Origin representative believes the stocks are there to cover for him.
“Dark (Ryan James) is a big blow out on the edge and he’s been coming into the middle and doing work there. He’s our skipper and the boys do turn to him.
“The boys coming on, Max king and Morgan Boyle are doing a great job taking us forward and getting us metres.”
