As a former team-mate of Shark Matt Moylan, fullback Michael Gordon knows that controlling his influence on the game will help the Titans go a long way toward wining the clast at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday night.
Gordon wore the number one jersey at Penrith whilst Matt Moylan was coming through the grades and had a lot to do with the now, Sharks five-eighth early on in his career.
"I spent a lot of time with him coming through the grades and he's a good young kid," Gordon said of Moylan. "We'll need to be weary of him."
Moylan has been shuffled around a number of positions since debuting for the Sharks but critics have been quick to point out that the 26-year-old had his best match against his former side last weekend.
"He's a fantastic player and he's definitely one of their better players, so we'll need to be on our guard."
Last year the Titans defeated the Sharks on both occasions that they played each other, including the ANZAC fixture that was played in Sydney's south and it's result the Titans will be looking to replicate on Saturday.
"We were quite poor in a number of areas last week but we'll want to be a lot better this week.
"They're always a tough, grinding, gritty team. We'll have a better look at them but I doubt they've changed so that's what type of match we'll be expecting."
