Prop forward Jarrod Wallace will play his 100th NRL match on Saturday night when the Titans play the Sharks at Cbus Super Stadium.
Wallace played a year of Under 20s with the Titans before heading north, making his debut for the Brisbane Broncos in Round 14 of season 2012 and since then made his switch to the Titans in 2017, also earning a Queensland Origin jersey for the last two matches of the series.
"I'm really looking forward to it (my 100th game)," Wallace said. "I'm one of those guys that probably thought I wouldn't have played one game but to be able to do it during ANZAC Round and in front of family and friends is special.
"I got my first crack here in the 20s and it makes the hairs on my arms and neck stand-up just thinking about it so it'll be great."
Wallace will be tasked with creating the roll forward for his side and believes if he can do that, then new five-eighth Bryce Cartwright will be able to do his job.
"I thought he did a good job against the Warriors when he was thrown in late when Ash got injured. He's got that option for some second phase play, a flick pass and a decent kick, it'll be good."
