Coach Garth Brennan yesterday added player number 28 to his 2018 roster with young prop forward Moeaki Fotuaika being elevated to the top squad, from his previous position in the development squad.
At just 18 years of age, Fotuaika has impressed Brennan since his arrival and will continue to prepare him for the rigours of NRL football.
Brennan has wasted no time at all, naming him in the 21-man squad for Round 9 and indicating he could make the trip to the nation's capital.

"It's not far away (an NRL debut)," Brennan said. He's likely to make the trip to Canberra as part of the squad.
"I've been super impressed with him since day one. He started out as a 'train & trial', then a development player and now he's in the top 30."
Whilst his elevation to the top squad makes him available for NRL selection, Brennan is cautious about blooding the youngster.
"I'm really excited about his potential but I also don't want to rush him. I'll play him when I think he's ready. In saying that though, I've watched every game of his and he's been one of the best forwards on the park each week."
With the elevation of Fotuaika, the club has signed Burleigh half Dallas Wells to a Development Player contract for the remainder of 2018.
