The club can confirm that lock forward Jai Arrow yesterday suffered a rib contusion during the match against the Raiders.
Arrow came from the field in the 18th minute of play after a collision with Raiders forward Junior Paulo and was unable to return to the action.
In basic terms, a rib contusion is the shifting of the rib cage from its normal position, causing distress to the organs around it. Arrow went to hospital for all the necessary tests and was cleared of any internal damage.
The Burleigh junior will be monitored through the week with a decision on his availability to come closer to game day, next Saturday.
In other injury news, Jarrod Wallace has a virus and is continuing to be monitored by medical staff.
