The TFH Gold Coast Titans have today agreed to terms with Shannon Boyd, from the Canberra Raiders, for four seasons, commencing in 2019.
Boyd will finish the season with the Raiders, before joining the club next year, where he will be a Titan through until 2022.
The 25-year-old has played 100 NRL matches and also represented Australia on four occasions and played one Country Origin match.
Head Coach Garth Brennan believes Boyd is a player that will fit in well at the Titans.
"Shannon has impressed me throughout the process and I believe he is a great acquisition for the club," Brennan said.
"He is an imposing figure that will bring some much needed size to our pack.
"He has played 100 NRL games and has represented his country so he brings with him a fair amount of experience that will help a number of our young guys.
"He will complement the forwards we already have here so I'm pleased he has chosen to join us.
"I'm looking forward to him joining the club next year."
CEO Graham Annesley is pleased with the addition of Boyd to the 2019 squad.
"Shannon's signing shows that quality players are buying into the inevitable success of the Titans in the years ahead," Annesley said.
"The addition of Shannon in 2019 will give us a forward pack that will be the envy of many other NRL clubs."
