The Gold Coast Titans have always focused on balanced development of the players who join the club.
The harsh realities of elite sport are that success, regardless of the calibre of the athlete, in most cases is relatively short lived and for that reason, the Titans welfare team have constantly worked to ensure our players are provided with not only, first class training on-field, but that they are also working on skills which will assist them at the conclusion of their careers.
Players like Anthony Laffranchi, Scott Prince, Preston Campbell and Brad Meyers to name but a few have all gone on to enjoy success in the workplace, thanks largely to the study and qualifications they received during their time at the club.
This weekend, Real Skills for Real Careers are the match day sponsor of the final NRL match of the season with former Titan Brad Meyers in attendance to encourage more young Rugby League players to follow in his footsteps and secure their post-footy futures.
"I started my apprenticeship in '97, it was the best decision that I made because it's giving me the opportunity to carry on and keep working"
