New recruit Tyrone Peachey has eased into his tenure as a Titan, attending the annual Titans Golf Day, held at Parkwood International Golf Course.

Peachey left Sydney on Wednesday, making the 10-hour drive with his young family, moving straight into his new residence in Palm Beach and thought what a better way to start his time as a Titan, than at a Golf Day.

"It was good," Peachey said. "Brenno (Coach Garth Brennan) rang me the other day and thought it'd be a great opportunity to come in and meet everyone.

"I've only been in town two days. We've settled in and everything is good."
Peachey may have spent the past five years down in Penrith, away from the water but the 27-year-old is used to life beachside.

"I grew up in Cronulla so I enjoy the water but I did enjoy my time in Penrith."
Prior to his arrival at the club, there has been a large amount of media speculation regarding whether the Cronulla-Caringbah junior would in fact venture north of the border but he was quick to hose that down.

"I'm very excited. I met a few of the guys today and they seem like good fellas. I can't wait to get into training.

"For me it didn't really bother me. I'm keen to really rip in and try and do something special.

"We've got some good recruits. Hopefully we can play finals football. It's a beautiful club."
