Four Titans will this weekend head to the Sunshine Coast as part of the Queensland Emerging Origin squad camp.

Young guns AJ Brimson and Phil Sami will attend their first senior Queensland camp whilst Brenko Lee and Ash Taylor will head into their second emerging camp.

For Brimson and Sami, the step up is a big one but one both are looking forward to.

"I'm pretty excited to head up there," Brimson said. It'll be good to have a few familiar faces to guide me.

"I'm a bit nervous to be honest, with the calibre of players there. It's definitely a step in the right direction."

Sami is also keen to be part of the group.

"It's a big weekend for me," he said. "I haven't been part of a group like this before.

"AJ and I played 20s Origin together but to be around the senior guys now for Queensland, I'll be looking to get a lot out of it.

"I was shocked at first but I'm looking forward to it."

For Lee and Taylor, they'll be looking to show their worth and follow in the footsteps of Titans team-mate,

Jai Arrow, who made the step-up from Emerging Squad to the Origin arena last year.

"It's good to get in there and learn about the Queensland culture, as well as spend time talking with the coaches," Lee said.

"Kevvie (Walters) has an idea of what he wants moving forward so it'll be good to be in the mix, it is a confidence boost."

"It's a great experience," Taylor added. "Kevvie is a great coach and a great mentor.

"There will be some new faces around so we'll learn a lot and will bring it back here to the Titans."
