The Gold Coast Titans school boy and girl rugby league competitions continue this Wednesday with games being played at five locations across South East Queensland.

The Robina Town Centre competition will see a series of important clashes across all divisions.

Round 5 of the Titans Schools Rugby League tournament, and following last week seeing Cup draw between Aquinas and Beenleigh SHS, and a massive win to Marymount College over Keebra Park SHS, this week’s match of the round is a top of the table clash between competition leaders Marymount College and Beenleigh SHS.

Second placed Beenleigh will be looking to score a confidence boosting victory over Marymount prior to the tournaments finals series getting underway. This top of the table clash gets underway at Mudgeeraba JRL from 7:30PM.

Trinity College have been on a barnstorming run throughout the early rounds of the competition to date, comfortably placed at the top of the table with four wins from four matches. They are being chased on the leaderboard by a quarter of capable teams including Chisholm, Loganlea SHS, Saint Francis and Windaroo.

This week sees the competition leaders up against Loganlea SHS in what should be an extremely exciting clash. You can watch this game at Logan City Hawks JRL at 6:30PM.

Shield competition leaders Trinity College are yet to concede a match this tournament and have been in impressive form in recent weeks.

The TC team won’t have things all their own way this week, up against third placed Forest Lakes SHS who are coming off one of the biggest wins of the tournament to date, a massive 46 - 4 win over a depleted Beenleigh SHS II outfit. You can watch this game at Logan City Hawks JRL from 5:30PM.

This week’s Challenge Cup matches will be crucial in determining the makeup of the Challenge finalists. With five teams, all within one win of top spot on the ladder. In the  match of the round, Coombabah SHS take on cross-town rivals Robina SHS.

While the teams currently sit second and eighth on the ladder, victory could see Robina climb into top spot. The Challenge teams kick off proceedings from 4:30pm at Nerang JRL. Make sure you get out to a rugby league venue to watch the best Gold Coast school boy and girl players in action, or watch the highlights on titans.com.au thanks to our Community Partners Robina Town Centre.
