At six foot four or 193 cm, Petero Civoniceva terrorised opposition NRL defensive lines for 14 seasons.
Making his debut for the Broncos in 1998, Petero came off the bench as Brisbane claimed that year's NRL Premiership.
A fan favourite, not only in Brisbane, but across Queensland, Australia and Fiji, Petero was as professional off the field as he was on it.
Part of Queensland’s State Of Origin winning dynasty, Petero was also the first forward in history to represent the Australian Kangaroos in 40 Internationals.
After a four-year stint with Penrith between 2008-2011, Petero returned to Brisbane, allowing one of rugby league's true gentlemen to finish his career where it all started.
Petero Civoniceva:
- Brisbane Broncos: 235 NRL Matches
- Penrith Panthers: 74 NRL Matches
- Queensland: 33 SOO Games
- Australia: 45 Internationals
- Prime Ministers XIII: 1 match
- Fiji: 6 Internationals
Petero Civoniceva will join a host of former Broncos Greats and Titans Legends in the 2019 Deadly Choices All Stars International, being played at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday 27 July.
The match will be played as the curtain-raiser to the Gold Coast Titans' blockbuster local dery against the Broncos at Cbus Super Stadium.
