Rising Titans Jayden Campbell, Juwan Compain, Tristan Powell and Toby Sexton will spend the weekend down in Sydney as part of the NRL’s annual Rookie Camp.
The four young Titans will head to Sydney for the two-day camp, with every player participating in a number of education session across a large number of topics.
Young half Toby Sexton says he is looking forward to acting as a “sponge” for two days as the rookies participate in seminars to learn how to deal with the pressures and stresses of playing in the NRL.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” Sexton said.
“It’s a good opportunity to mix with other young talent form across the game.

“I think it’ll be a lot about education, and also everything that can help us off the field.
“We all know there will be a lot of temptations off the field.
“I’m sure we’ll learn about how to make the right decisions and everything to help us benefit as individuals.”
Both Campbell and Powell are currently taking part in their first pre-season as “train-and-trial” players, but having this opportunity is something they aren’t taking lightly.
“It’s definitely a chance to learn new things,” Powell said.
“We’re currently learning a lot of on-field stuff at training and I’ll be using this opportunity to help me learn as much stuff in relation to the off-field element as well.”
“It’s something I’m excited about,” Campbell added.
“I had a look at the run-down and it looks like it’s all good stuff and a lot of it is just as important as the on-field (part of the game).”
