Holbrook confirms final 17 with a big inclusion at the back

Gold Coast Titans' Head Coach Justin Holbrook has confirmed his final team list for the battle with the Roosters at the SCG this afternoon and it includes a big in for the Queensland club.

Dynamic fullback AJ Brimson makes his long-awaited return from a back injury and his first Titans appearance in 2020 since hurting his back at the Perth 9s in the pre-season.

Brimson has been steadily improving, returning to full training a fortnight ago and he was named in the extended squad when it was announced on Tuesday this week.

His return comes at the expense of Corey Thompson who has performed strongly for the Titans since joining mid-season from the Tigers.

Backrower Keegan Hipgrave also returns after having a week rest against the Panthers with a shoulder complaint.

Sam Lisone again drops out of the side and is replaced by Sam Stone in jersey number 19.
