Lisone free to play against the Dogs after not-guilty result at judiciary

Titans prop Sam Lisone has been cleared by the judiciary and will be free to play against the Canterbury Bulldogs on Saturday.

Lisone, who was the ball-carrier at the time, was charged with making contact to the head/neck of Dragons hooker Billy Brittain in the Titans win over St George Illawarra on Friday night.

Mal Meninga represented Lisone, successfully arguing that the action wasn’t careless, instead presenting that there was clear intent to bust the tackle.

Lisone will now line up for the Titans on Saturday and will play his 100th NRL game when the Gold Coast take on the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium.
