The Broncos have had the edge in the rivalry with an impressive head-to-head record from the 28 games played between the two sides (Brisbane 20 wins, Gold Coast 8).

The Titans recent form has been strong, beating the Cowboys (home), Dragons (away) and Bulldogs (away), while pushing top-eight teams Canberra and Cronulla.

The Gold Coast side will be looking to add second win against their northern neighbours this season, after defeating the Broncos 30 points to 12 in Round 7 at Suncorp Stadium.

Anthony Don scored two tries in that victory, while Ash Taylor, Phillip Sami and Sam Lisone also crossed the line in an impressive Titans win.

The Broncos last won in Round 9 and are coming off eight straight losses but have the better of the head-to-head at Cbus Super Stadium.

Brisbane has won nine of 13 games on the Gold Coast and will be looking for their fourth win of the 2020 season on Saturday night.

The Titans attack is averaging 14.7 points per game (232 points scored for season), while the Broncos average 13 points per game (222 points scored for season).

In defence, the Titans have conceded 427 points this season (average 24 per game) compared to Brisbane’s 548 points conceded (average 32 per game).

There will be some great head-to-head matchups on show across key positions, with Moeaki Fotuaika and Payne Haas in the front row, AJ Brimson against Darius Boyd at fullback and Jamal Fogarty and Tom Dearden to steer their teams at halfback.

Tickets are still available for the clash, with kick-off at 530pm on Saturday 12th September. GET TICKETS
