Jai Arrow has had a haircut.

When this has been said in 2020, the results have been frightening.

He’s gone from mullet, to shaved mullet, to braided mullet.

Thankfully Jai has now gotten rid of what was one of the NRL’s worst ever hairdo’s.

Behind the bad look is a great cause.

Arrow has been raising money for Shave for a Cure to support cancer research.

His mum was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Jai says he always wanted to do something to support people with a cancer journey.

Jai’s mum has now finished up her treatment and is healthy, but he says he is very aware that isn’t the case for everyone.

“I know sadly that (a healthy outcome) isn’t the case for a lot of other people,”  Arrow said.

“I didn’t think twice about throwing my hand up to support others and their loved ones in similar positions by shaving my mullet.”

Team-mate Young Tonumaipea was the one with clippers in hand, with the team’s unofficial barber responsible for removing the mullet.

While the hair may have gone, you can still still donate to Jai’s fundraising campaign.
