Boyd to replace injured Taylor for Cowboys clash

Tanah Boyd will make his first start for the Titans in 2021, named at five-eighth for Sunday's clash against the North Queensland Cowboys.

Boyd replaces Ashley Taylor, who will miss the game after fracturing his hand in the Titans round two win over the Broncos at Cbus Super Stadium.

Taylor, who played his 100th Titans game on Friday night, will miss a few weeks, joining Brian Kelly who is also recovering from a hand injury.

After notching three-successive local derby wins against the Broncos, the Titans attention turns to another local clash against the Cowboys in Townsville.

The five-eighth switch is the only change to the 17 that played the Broncos, with Beau Fermor again named 18th man.
