Big inclusions expected for Manly clash

The Gold Coast Titans will welcome back a key figure for Sunday's clash against Manly, with AJ Brimson expected to be fit.

The Origin star missed the round 13 clash against the Roosters as he continued to recover from a knee complaint.

Titans High Performance Manager, Klint Hoare, says the fullback should be fit for selection this week.

"AJ Brimson coming back from Origin took the weekend off against the Roosters," Hoare said.

"He'll be back available, it was just some precautionary stuff around some bone bruising with his knee, but he will be back and available for selection."

Sam Lisone could also return to NRL action this week, with the prop now fully recovered from a pec tear.

"Sam Lisone will return this week which is exciting," Hoare said.

"That'll be either for Tweed or available for selection for the NRL team against the Sea Eagles."

There were two high profile players assessed for head knocks against the Roosters, but Hoare expects both to be fit for selection this week.

"There was a HIA for David Fifita and also Tino Fa'asuamaleaui," he said.

"At the moment they've gotten through all of their protocols through the game day and then they'll follow up with the doctor and all going to plan they'll be available for selection."

The rehab squad continues to reduce, with Jonus Pearson returning for the Burleigh Bears last week and another two players due back for the Titans next game.

"Beau Fermor is tracking nicely with his hamstring strain and we are looking at a round 16 return against the Raiders.

"We do have a bye between the Sea Eagles and the Raiders so we will just give him the extra week to build strength and speed.

"Round 16 is also the expected return for Corey Thompson which is exciting for the club and exciting for Corey."
