The Gold Coast Titans Premier Partner, MyPayNow, has generously donated 300 tickets to the Club’s charity partners for Sunday’s game against the Manly Sea Eagles at Cbus Super Stadium.
LIVIN, The Gold Coast Hospital Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities SEQ will all receive the tickets as part of the Titans “Inspire Round”.
Nic Bennetts from MyPayNow says he hopes this helps lift the spirits of people who might be doing it tough at the moment.
“I think all three of the Titans charity partners are fantastic organisations that do great things for the community,” Bennetts said.
“To be part of that from a MyPayNow point of view, we are just happy to be able to support them.
“We are a Gold Coast company born and bred on the Coast, so to be able to help the Titans and anyone within the Gold Coast community really hits close to home for us.”
Ben Cox, CEO of the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, says the gesture will go towards recognising front line workers.
“First off the bat, we want to get some tickets into our nurses,” he said.
“They are often on the front face of fighting COVID, fighting cancer, helping people with road trauma.
“We think this is a great timeout for nurses to get out and relax and see a game of footy with their friends, family and loved ones and to just switch off.”
Katina Roberts from Ronald McDonald House Charities SEQ says the donation will be very well received.
“It’s a wonderful donation and a fantastic opportunity not just for our families that come and visit but also the staff and volunteers that work there as well,” she said.
“It’s been such a difficult year for everybody so to be able to attend these games will be fantastic.”
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell applauded MyPayNow for the contribution and says it shows the connection between the Club's partners.
“As a Club, we’re determined to make our communities proud,” Mitchell said.
“That can happen on the field, but it can also happen through our network of great commercial and charity partners.
“This is a wonderful gesture from the MyPayNow team and with our charity partners in LIVIN, Ronald McDonald House Charities SEQ and the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, we know that the tickets will end up in good hands.
“I’m confident our team will put on a good show against Manly and I’m thrilled that, in conjunction with our partners, we will be able to put smiles on 300 faces at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday.”
