Injury update: Sami, Fogarty and Clark

Three key Titans will miss Sunday's clash against the Dragons, with Gold Coast High Performance Manager Klint Hoare confirming that injuries will keep them out of the game.

Erin Clark, Jamal Fogarty and Phillip Sami will all miss the clash at Cbus Super Stadium, which serves as a Dragons home game.

"Phil Sami we've confirmed has a ankle lateral ligament strain," Hoare said.

"He has commenced an extensive return to run program with a three week goal.

Fogarty, the Titans co-captain left the field with a finger issue, but Hoare says it hopefully won't keep him sidelined for long.

"Jamal has no fracture but we're requiring the area where bone pierced the skin to not become infected so this will be an important first week of healing," Hoare said.

"He is looking at a return in round 19 or round 20."

Erin Clark made 53 tackles in an 80 minute performance in the Titans last start against the Eels, but picked up an elbow injury that will keep him out this week.

"Erin will have minimal contact early this week," Hoare said.

"He has commenced a return to play program and he will be available for selection in round 20.

"That's provided his strength and functionality is adequate for selection."
