Great news on the injury front, as players return

After notching back-to-back wins and climbing back inside the NRL's top eight, the good news for Titans fans also extends to the injury list.

The rehab list is shrinking, with two key players available for selection this week and another two expected to be ready within a fortnight.

Gold Coast High Performance Manager Klint Hoare says the entire squad that defeated the Bulldogs 34 points to 6 in round 20 has recovered well.

"We've got no injuries to report from the game against the Dogs," Hoare said.

"The team finds itself with the luxury of players returning from short term injuries.

"Both Jamal Fogarty (finger compound/dislocation) and Erin Clark (elbow ligament strain) will be ready and available for selection for Sunday's game against the North Queensland Cowboys."

Clark has been named in the #14 jersey, replacing the suspended Tyrone Peachey, while Fogarty is part of the extended 21-man squad.

The only change to the backline named this week sees Patrick Herbert return to the centres after serving a one-match suspension, replacing Esan Marsters.

The backline stocks will be further boosted next week with two flyers set to return to the selection mix.

"Phil Sami and Jayden Campbell (both ankle injuries) continue with their respective return to play training programs and both are on track to be integrated into team skills this week whilst increasing their training load with a return to full squad training the week leading into round 22 versus the Rabbitohs.

"Without any issues arising, the aim of the high performance unit and the medical team at the Titans is to have both players available for selection for the Melbourne Storm round 23 clash or the following match versus the Knights round 24."
