Player in Focus: David Fifita

David Fifita is the Macca's player in focus this week as the Titans face a must-win finals clash against the Roosters.

The 21 year old Queenslander is the Titans' leading tryscorer this season, crossing the white paint 9 times in his last 7 games for a total of 17 tries.

The representative forward came to the club this year with high expectations after a dominant start to his NRL career at the Brisbane Broncos. 

The barnstorming edge forward has proven a defensive nightmare for opposition players, leading the competition in tackle busts on 150.

With Titans Coach Justin Holbrook choosing to bring the young forward off the bench, Fifita has relished the opportunity to terrorise a tiring opposition attack. 

Averaging 127 running metres per game, Dave continues to show fans that he is one of the competition's most destructive ball runners.

With a tough assignment this week against a strong Roosters forward pack, Fifita will need to be at his game-winning best to help propel the Titans into week 2 of the finals.
