Young winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira will join the Titans top-30 squad for 2022, after signing a contract extension to stay on the Gold Coast.
The 19-year-old is yet to make his NRL debut, but is another local product who has committed to the Coast in the long-term.
"I grew up on the GC and I always wanted to stay here," Khan-Pereira said.
"I've always seen Titans boys growing up and some of the boys playing now I've played with, so I loved to sign the contract and I'm excited to be part of what we are becoming.
"The boys making the finals added to that excitement."
After being on the Titans development list, Khan-Pereira says a move to the top squad is a huge boost.
"It massively changes things," he said.
"It is indescribable that feeling. All of the hard work is paying off now and I'm just so excited to be a part of it."
Considered the fastest member of the Titans squad, the winger says he has called on the experience of the Club's all-time leading try scorer to help his game.
"Being a winger, I was able to learn off Anthony Don one of the greatest wingers and I was just soaking in so much information off him and learning so much."
Khan-Pereira wants to pull on the Titans jersey but is also in no rush to make his debut as he continues to develop his game with the Burleigh Bears.
"To be honest I'm keen for wherever I play next season," he said.
"I'd love to make my NRL debut, but I'm in no rush. Playing Intrust Super Cup and then NRL, that's the goal."
