In a Titans polo for the first time, Isaac Liu says he is ready to get to work.
The former Roosters forward joins the Titans for pre-season next month and he's ready to take on a leadership role with the Coast's exciting group of young forwards.
"I'm looking forward to wearing the new colours and getting in to the new team," Liu said.
"I'm pretty pumped and excited to be here but also to be back home in a way."
The 30-year-old won two premierships (2018 and 2019) in his nine seasons at the Roosters, but leaves Sydney to return back to the Coast and the place he went to school (Keebra Park State High School).
Having had a first hand look at the Titans through 2021, Liu says he is excited to join the team.
"I'm excited about the footy side," he said.
"There is some young talent in there and young guys willing to work hard and they definitely can play.
"I'm really looking forward to building combinations with them and hopefully getting all the way to the top with them."
Liu adds experience to an exciting Titans pack that features a number of young players including David Fifita (21), Moeaki Fotuaika (21), Tino Fa'asuamaleaui (21), Beau Fermor (23) and Jaimin Jolliffe (24).
"I'm happy to be in that leadership role and help out the boys and give every bit of experience I have.
"It's exciting and I look forward to building those new combinations with the boys and getting the hard work done.
"I'll still be staying in the middle ... I assume I'll be helping the forwards out and building some combinations."
