Tazmin Gray knows what it takes to win a premiership.
Lifting the NRLW trophy with the Broncos in 2019, the experienced edge forward has seen firsthand the keys to success and how to make it to the top on the big stage.
With hard-work, commitment and sacrifice headlining Gray's hit list, the Australian International is hoping to bring those three quality traits to the Titans as one of the club's marquee players in their debut season.
'I know once it starts, it won’t stop' - Gray
"I think the best part about being involved in those [grand final] campaigns is the professionalism and the one percenters can make a massive difference," Gray said.
"So for me, it’s just about most importantly bringing those one percenters to our team and using that experience to guide our tea. But I know that most of these girls know what they’re doing and they’re a great bunch of girls and great players."
The 26-year-old is a firm believer in her actions speaking louder than words, and as leader in women's sport - recently starring in the Queenslandher campaign - the Maroons winner wants to lead by example to get the best out of her new Gold Coast teammates.
"I like to think on the field, I’m an enforcer, but I’m not much of a talker when we’re at training. I just like to get the job done," Gray said.
"But most importantly, I just want the girls to enjoy where they are and if I can create an environment where they feel safe and at home, it’s breeding group for success.
"For me, it’s just creating that environment. Being one of their mates and help guide them through this experience of rugby league."
With a majority of the Titans squad hailing from the sandy beaches just north of the Tweed, the three-season NRLW 'veteran' is no stranger to the new crop of talent assembled in her home town, sharing plenty of success on the field in Burleigh Bears colours.
The link has helped with preparing for the brand new women's season ahead, under the guise of a star-studded coaching staff which includes Jamie Feeney, Tahnee Norris and Aaron Zimmerle.
"Yeah, it’s really cool [having the Burleigh connection]. Obviously, we’ve played together the experience is there," Gray said.
"We don’t really have to build too many combinations, but also at the same time, I know we have the coaching staff who can bring a bunch of girls together and can create success here at the Titans.
"I am extremely grateful to be playing alongside some of these girls."
Born and bred on the Gold Coast, the Palm Beach Currumbin alumni wants to deliver her hometown their first piece of silverware, and is trying to enjoy the club's first moments in their first official pre-season.
"It’s been really cool just to be part of something here at home and also be able to represent the Gold Coast," Gray said.
"Hopefully the goal is to bring home the first premiership.
"I don't have a countdown on at the moment [for the first round].
"I’m just enjoying the moments with the girls and lapping up the experience because I know once it starts, it won’t stop."
