As the start of the 2022 season creeps closer and closer, the Gold Coast Titans squad is fit and healthy for the upcoming trials period which is just over a week away.
Like members and fans, the side is buzzing for the return of footy on February 19 against the Brisbane Broncos and with no recent major injuries to report, Titans high performance manager Klint Hoare said the only recent concerns on his radar has been a few niggles that most teams face at this time of year.
Qscan rehab report: 'We’re a pretty healthy squad at the moment'
"We’ve got just under two weeks until we play against the Brisbane Broncos at Cbus Super Stadium and we’re a pretty healthy squad at the moment," Hoare said.
"We’ve got a couple of niggles as most clubs would have at this time of year as we build the miles into their legs and really start to ramp up the opposed contact sessions, so we’ve got a couple of little injuries we’re looking at.
"Aaron Booth will stay out of the Broncos trial, but we’ll aim to have him back in for the Warriors game up in Redcliffe on February 26.
"Treymain Spry has a slight calf strain but he’ll be good to go, and Paul Turner is coming back from a shoulder reconstruction last year and has had some contact modifications, but he’s full go at the moment and is hoping to get through the full trial next week and possibly another trial with our Queensland Cup feeder teams."

Titans playmakers AJ Brimson and Toby Sexton have also returned to full training after having their training programs reduced to help recover from COVID-19.
"A few weeks ago, we had modified both AJ and Toby’s loads coming back from COVID and just trying to navigate what that looks like in terms of high-speed running and velocity exposures," Hoare said.
"They’re both very important cogs to our wheel in terms of the 2022 season, but they’re back now and fully firing."
The only other major injury the club is currently rehabbing is Joe Vuna's ACL, which he ruptured playing for the Tweed Seagulls in last year's Queensland Cup finals series.
A return this season is imminent for the 23-year-old edge forward, who is progressing well in his recovery.
"Joe Vuna has been outstanding and I can’t commend him enough in regards to his rehabilitation," Hoare said.
"It’s been 15 weeks post op and it was a successful operation. This week he starts his Alter G [Anti-Gravity] treadmill running, so it just takes the weight off the body and allows him to do some running now, which is awesome.
"We’re hoping to introduce him to the field running in about two weeks.
"It's probably around July / August when he returns, but we’re going to push as hard as we can for around July."
