Titans were an intriguing side in both Fantasy and the NRL last year as they returned to the finals, with some extraordinarily potent players producing amazing feats but with some inconsistency.
They were involved in some of the most entertaining games of the year and had some of the game's most entertaining players and there's no reason they won't be a major wildcard once again in both Fantasy and the NRL.
Big Guns
David Fifita ($800k) remains his side's priciest player despite the reduction in tackle bust value from three points to two winding his starting price down. He played some small-minute games off the bench as coach Justin Holbrook searched for the best way to keep his big gun firing, so could theoretically build his minutes a little in 2022. He averaged 66 minutes for the year and 57 minutes for the second half of the year.
Bargain Hunter
AJ Brimson ($500k) took some time to get going in 2021 and as a result his price tag is below what he is capable of, especially if he ends up in the halves making more tackles without it denting his attacking output.
Erin Clark ($412k) averaged 44 minutes last year but is a chance of being the main man at No.9 to start this season which brings plenty of upside. Tanah Boyd ($370k) and Will Smith ($240k) are the other likely options so whichever way Holbrook goes, the first-choice Titans hooker will be a popular pick-up.
Moeaki Fotuaika ($613k) is the second-most expensive Titan and another whose minutes were mixed through last season, though at his best he is a legitimate Fantasy gun. Rookie half Toby Sexton ($600k) is the only other Titan to hit the $600k price mark and has 'future Fantasy gun' written all over him but whether he can hit the ground running in his second season to match or improve on what is an already-lofty price tag is another question.
Cheapies
There are no real cash cows on the Titans roster unless Smith ($240k) ends up with a starting spot. If their forward depth is tested at any point there could be some short-term value in the likes of Sam Lisone ($240k) or Herman Ese'ese ($240k).
One to watch out for
As mentioned in the first section, Sexton ($600k) has all the hallmarks of a good Fantasy half but if anything his price is a little inflated after some very busy games in his debut season. That's not to say he can't increase further in value but don't expect fireworks straight away. Jayden Campbell ($550k) is another very talented player who is already awkwardly priced after some big games in his debut season.
