The Gold Coast Titans have today celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with long-time supporter, Leagueability player, volunteer and friend of the club, Chris Hinckesman joining training.
Hinckesman has been involved for several years now, assisting where he can and even participating in at various speaking engagements to discuss his duties with the Titans.
Fresh from the Titans' double header victories against the Broncos and Warriors respectively, Hinckesman joined Gold Coast players Jaimin Jolliffe and Greg Marzhew at a media opportunity on Monday to talk about his love for the club and how great the performances at Cbus Super Stadium were at the weekend.
"I started supporting the Titans a long time ago," Hinckseman said.
"I help the boys train, run water and help out the whole team.
As a regular of the Titans' successful Leagueability program, Hinckseman gave an insight into his favourite part about playing rugby league, which included joining in and playing with his favourite Titans players.
“Well, I love playing with the big boys like Jarrod Wallace... I love running and tackling with them,” Hinckseman said.
"Kevin Proctor, Jarrod Wallace and Anthony Don are my favourite players who have played at the Titans."

After spending a session with Jolliffe and Marzhew passing and catching the footy, the Titans forward was ecstatic to see Hinckseman and loves having him join in at training.
“Chris is outstanding, he is one of the best,” Jolliffe said.
“To have him at training and running water and helping stretch – you can’t be angry when you see him. He always has a smile on his face.
“He is a real morale booster. He cheers the boys up and brings a lot of energy, so it’s great to have him around."
World Down Syndrome Day aims to advocate and bring awareness to people with Down Syndrome and their families.
