NRL 2022: Titans, Late mail: Herbert celebrates 50 games as Liu returns to Mackay

Patrick Herbert will celebrate his 50th NRL game as the strike centre prepares to run out in Mackay for the Titans' Round 9 showdown against the Sydney Roosters.

Playing 21 games for the Warriors before moving across the ditch to join the Gold Coast, the 25-year-old will have added motivation to get the win with the milestone occasion and a chance to redeem last year's elimination finals heartbreak against the tri-colours.

With the team to line-up as per program against the Chooks, Isaac Liu is set to face off against the team he played 203 games for, standing on the opposite side of the field for the first time since joining the Titans.

BB Print Stadium in Mackay was the last venue the front row enforcer played at for his old club and is excited to face off against his old friends, hoping to get the two points over his new foes.
