Friday night's contest against the Broncos wasn't only tough on the scoreboard but also on the injury front, with a number of players entering the club's Casualty Ward after Round 12.
In his comeback match, David Fifita suffered a low velocity aggravation of his recent MCL sprain right knee and will unfortunately undergo another stint in rehab. The powerhouse second rower is expected to miss the next two to three weeks recovering, prior to returning to play.
Meanwhile, Esan Marsters has been sent for an MRI after suffering a left ankle low grade AITFL sprain. It is currently stiff but is settling well and will participate in rehab-dominant sessions throughout the lead in to the club's Round 13 clash against the Cowboys on Thursday night.
Three other Titans suffered minor injuries in the Macca's Local Derby but are expecting to be available for selection this week.
Beau Fermor finished the match with a right ab oblique strain, whilst Jamayne Isaako suffered a right shoulder hyper-abduction, but showed good strength post game and has been diagnosed with a low grade capsule / ligament strain.
There's further good news for Gold Coast playmaker Toby Sexton who left the field nearing half-time with a shoulder complaint. The young half was able to return to the field late in the game and was found to have only suffered left cervical spine stiffness with no further neurological symptoms.
He is expected to avoid contact training until later this week but will be right to play come Thursday.
