Inspirational captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui has confirmed he will back up this weekend after starring in Queensland's gritty Origin win on Wednesday night.
The powerhouse forward played 53 minutes for the Maroons in the 16-10 victory, making 131 metres with 16 runs and got through plenty of work in defence with 38 tackles across his two stints.
"I'm a bit sore, but I'm happy... very happy," Fa'asuamaleaui said, back among his Gold Coast teammates on Friday.
"I can't wait to get out there and play some good footy for the Titans."
With the potential of the skipper to start from the pine in Saturday afternoon's affair against the Rabbitohs, the club has plenty of options to fill the vital lock forward role should there be a late reshuffle ahead of kick-off.
As Fa'asuamaleaui gets ready to be fit and firing for the matchup at Cbus Super Stadium, there have been no changes made to the top 17 a day out from the game, with Esan Marsters and Aaron Booth remaining on the extended bench as cover.
The final 17 will be named one hour before kick-off.
Excitingly, the club proudly wear a specially-designed Pasifika jersey as part of Inspire Round, celebrating the Titans' community programs under the guise of the club's charitable arm Titans Together.
The weekend will also raise money for the NRL Tonga Relief with 20 percent of every Pasifika jersey sold going to the recovery efforts.
