AJ Brimson is confident his best position for the Gold Coast Titans is where Justin Holbrook wants him to play.
With the versatility to play a range of roles, including fullback and five-eighth, the 23-year-old has full faith in his coach to utilise him in the best position needed for the team, wanting to finish the year strong.
"I'm confident in my own ability and I have faith in Justin where he wants to put me.
"I can do a job wherever he puts me and I think it would be the best of the team, so I'm pretty casual at the moment (at where I play) and I'm looking forward to finishing the year strong and then really working out and knocking down where we're all going to play in 2023."
A frequent visitor to the Titans mentor's office to talk through game plans and seeking feedback, the current Gold Coast No. 1 is enjoying his time back at fullback but has also welcomed the return of Jayden Campbell from injury.
"I'm always up in Justin's office and we're chatting and working things out," Brimson said.
"At the moment. I'm enjoying it there and I think it's worked.
"I mean, obviously, we didn't get the win last week, but I thought when JC came on, he added a lot of spark, so I guess we'll just have to take it game by game at the moment."
"There's always things to work on, but we have a good relationship and where we're sitting on a ladder, I think everyone in our team could be playing better.
"I'm always open to him giving me advice, so there's always little things I'll try to take into each game and take things out of each game."

Another player who has been open to playing a number of different roles in the team has been Erin Clark, who returns to starting lock for this weekend's clash against Canberra - something Brimson is keen to see continue after his stellar performance at No. 13 against the Broncos.
"With Aaron Booth coming into our team and being a quality nine, we can allow Erin to play in his preferred position at lock," Brimson said.
"He kind of got the chance when Tino was coming off the bench and I think he's earned a starting role after last week's performance, so he's been really good for us."
He'll also be eager to face up against former teammate Jamal Fogarty in the clash, who will suit up for Canberra in his return to the Gold Coast.
"He's been going really well lately which we've been happy for," Brimson said.
"It's always good to come up against old mates, so that so that'd be a good battle and I'm looking forward to it."
