9.45pm - Tino claims Paul Broughton Medal for second consecutive season
The indisputable winner and short-priced favourite among members and fans, the Titans captain has claimed the 2022 Paul Broughton Medal with an incredible 27 votes after a huge season as the club leader.
The skipper has been described as the heart and soul of the club this season and averaged 160 run metres and 30 tackles per game.
His second consecutive honour – the first to do so since 2010/11 when Luke Bailey achieved the same feat – has been described as an inspiration to all, especially his teammates this season.
9.35pm – Strong finish from Mato sees forward claim top gong
Going down to the wire, barging front rower Shannon Mato is this season’s NRLW player of the year after a big game in Round 5, surpassing tackling machine Georgia Hale to take the top gong.
She’s the second forward to claim the title after Jessika Elliston won the prestigious honour earlier this year for the 2021 season.
9.30pm – The future is bright for young Fifita
A long and prosperous NRL career is expected for young Jojo Fifita, who has claimed the Rookie of the Year after an impressive eight games at the top grade beginning with a sensational debut against the Broncos in Round 18.
The 19-year-old’s good form for the Titans has not gone unnoticed either, set to make his International debut on the wing for the Prime Minister’s XIII against the Kumuls.
9.20pm – Holbrook rewards Brimson for big year in new role
Gold Coast five-eighth AJ Brimson has claimed his second award for the night, being presented the Coaches Award by head mentor Justin Holbrook for his big season in a new position.
Moving to the halves this year, the 24-year-old finished the season in the top 10 for try-assists, as well as coming up with nine four-pointers himself.
9.05pm – Hale’s dogged defence recognised by Karyn Murphy
A huge second season, particularly defensively has earned Gold Coast Titans lock Georgia Hale the NRLW Coaches Award.
Averaging 44 tackles a match, including a ground-breaking 50 efforts in Round 2, her attitude in trying to protect the try line has not gone unnoticed by the club’s coaching staff.
Neither has her leadership abilities to help support captain Brittany Breayley-Nati this season.
8.50pm – Outstanding AJ and excitement machine Pelite voted Members’ MVP
Two of the Legion’s favourites have been named the Members’ Most Valuable Players for the 2022 season with AJ Brimson and Evania Pelite getting the two thumbs up from the Titans faithful in one of the most important awards of the night.

8pm – Brian Kelly’s commitment to community recognised with 'The Preston' Award
Awarded to a club participant who embodies what it means to be a Titan, the centre has made an incredible contribution to the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers community over this year and for this, receives this year’s Preston Award.
As a Ballina Seagulls junior and proud Bundjalong man, he continually spends his time with his local club and First Nations community and is a huge and proud asset
His service has also seen him as the club’s Ken Stephens Medal nominee for 2022.
7.55pm – Experienced netballers among best in inaugural season
Goal defender Bryah Gafa has been acknowledged for her superb season in the Sapphire Series, being named the player of the year in their inaugural season.
Centre Peta Coles has equally played well in the Ruby Series – which qualified for the finals in their first year – with her leadership qualities rewarded with player of the year honours.
7.45pm – Leagueability players acknowledged
A hugely important program of the Gold Coast Titans, the club’s Leagueability program continues to go from strength to strength with further growth again in 2022.
This has culminated in nine physical disability players being selected to play for Australia at the upcoming World Cup in the United Kingdom next month.
Recognising their outstanding performance on and off the field this season, Cody Barrett and Abigail Hickesman have been acknowledged as the Male and Female Leagueability Players of the Year.
7.30pm - Titans content extraordinaire recognised
The Gold Cost Titans are more than just the teams on the field every week, it takes a hard working team behind the scenes to keep our valuable Members and fans feeling a part of the club. The winner of this award has done it better than most in the NRL.
Gaby Barns is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Achievement Award. After joining the Titans as a teenager, Barns has epitomised the club's values over two stints at the Coast and her hard work is enjoyed far and wide by fans via the Titans industry-leading social channels.
7.15pm - Welcome
Traditional land owner Uncle John Graham and Gold Coast Titans co-owner Rebecca Frizelle (on behalf of Dennis Watt who is an apology due to COVID) have officially welcomed everyone to the 2022 Paul Broughton Medal.
Former Gold Coast Titan Matt Srama – on the mic with MC Michael Atkinson tonight – has also spoken to the four finalists about their chances of taking home the top award.
