What's better than a win? A win against a rival. We know that some games just mean more and we've highlighted the 2023 fixtures that will have the Legion fired up.
TITANS v BRONCOS
Round 7, Saturday 15th April, 7:35pm (Cbus Super Stadium)
This is always the one that players, members and fans alike look for when the draw is released.
Ask any member of the Titans Legion and they'll tell you there is nothing better than beating the Broncos.
In 2023, we get first crack at the Macca's Local Derby, with the first instalment of the rivalry game to be played on the Coast in round seven.
Leaving home will be a strange feeling for the Brisbane club, who will play five-straight games at Suncorp Stadium before they head down the highway.
The last six fixtures between the two clubs are split three wins each, although it was the Broncos who claimed these clashes in 2022.
The return bout is in Brisbane in round 17 at Suncorp Stadium.
TITANS v DOLPHINS
Round 19, Sunday 9th July, 4:05pm (Cbus Super Stadium)
From an undisclosed location in Queensland, "The Dolphins" will travel down the M1 for our first derby game at Cbus Super Stadium. This won't be our first game against the new club, we play them in a pre-season trial match and then again at Suncorp Stadium in round eight, but this is their first visit to our home turf.
This rivalry began before the Titans even joined the competition. The Gold Coast team was initially going to be called the Dolphins, before Redcliffe stepped in to stop the new franchise using the name.
The competition's shiny new side will feature former Titans including Jarrod Wallace.
Everyone is talking about the Broncos-Dolphins rivalry, but we're sure our newest Queensland derby will mean plenty to both our players and supporters.
TITANS v WARRIORS
Round 23, Friday 4th August, 6:00pm (Cbus Super Stadium)
Boyd pinches it in golden point
I mean, this happened last time we played.
The games against the Warriors always seem to be exciting. There are many kiwis who now call the Gold Coast home. It's because of this that this clash always comes to life.
Big crowds, loud supporters and entertaining footy. This you can guarantee at a Titans v Warriors game.
In recent years, the game has had some feeling as well.
In 2021, the Titans had to beat the Warriors to make finals and while the Gold Coast side notched a 44-0 win, the match also saw New Zealand players sent from the field in a spiteful affair.
Match Highlights: Titans v Warriors
The Titans haven't drawn a fixture in Auckland next year, meaning this will be the only clash between the two sides on 2023.
TITANS v COWBOYS
Round 22, Sunday 30th July, 4:05pm (Cbus Super Stadium)
The Cowboys were Queensland's best team in 2022. In fact, they were one of the best teams in the competition. If we want to re-claim the crown as the best in the state, we need to beat the best - and at the moment, that means defeating North Queensland.
The clash against our northern neighbours always has plenty of feeling and after an early season visit to Townsville (round four), we can't wait to host them at Cbus Super Stadium as part of a big finish to the regular season at home (six of the last nine games are on the Gold Coast).
