Macca's back for three more years... and we're lovin' it

McDonald’s have extended their partnership with the Gold Coast Titans, with the iconic restaurant brand signing on to increase their support the club for the next three years.

Titans lend a hand at Macca's

The Golden Arches will feature prominently on the Titans 2023 playing strip, with the logo to appear on the NRL club’s playing shorts.

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell says the partnership, which began in 2019, continues to grow to support a number of areas across the club.

“McDonald’s have been wonderful supporters of the Titans and I’m thrilled that they’ve extended their partnership with us for another three seasons,” Mitchell said.

“McDonald’s are a global brand and the level of activation and engagement that they bring to many activities, promotions and touch points across our club will continue, which is great news for Titans Members and fans.

“One such activation is Macca’s Mini League which will return to our game days in 2023, allowing the next generation of young talent to pull on a jersey and run out onto Cbus Super Stadium to play at halftime of our NRL games.

“Aside from supporting our NRL program, Macca’s have thrown their support behind our female athletes as well.

“Macca’s were a foundation sponsor of our Titans NRLW side and they also came on as a foundation sponsor of our Titans Netball teams as well.”

Jess Altmann, Macca’s Marketing Manager for Queensland and the Northern Territory, says the brand are excited to be building on the partnership with the Titans over the next three years.

“We can’t wait to see our Golden Arches out there with the NRL team as they take to the field every week, as well as continuing our support of the Titans NRLW team and the Titans Netball program for the next three seasons,” Altmann said.

“During the 2023 NRL and NRLW seasons, Titans Members and fans can also look forward to the continuation of initiatives such as Mac for a Match where each game day ticket holder or Member can enjoy a free Big Mac when the Titans score 19 plus points at a home game.

“McCafé Mondays will also continue to entitle members to a free small coffee after each away game.”

To celebrate the announcement, Titans players Tanah Boyd, Sam McIntyre, Erin Clark and Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui visited their local McDonald’s store to surprise fans and lend the staff a helping hand and to acknowledge the support from McDonald’s and their licensees.
