Kieran Foran hasn't been the only early bird reporting for duty early at Parkwood.
Well before November 1, Beau Fermor and Sam McIntyre were regulars smashing out the extras, aiming to get in peak fitness for the new season ahead; and that list continued to grow with a number of other Titans stars joining in the pre pre-season regime to help lift the Coast up the ladder in 2023.
That eagerness to return early has continued to be a common trend among the playing group, with a majority of Titans World Cup campaigners also coming in early to join their teammates and get started on a big 2023 ahead.
Jaimin Jolliffe was a regular starter a week before he was due back, leaders Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Isaac Liu have continued to check in with the playing group despite the pair not due back till the new year and the latest two to join in the fun are Jacob Alick and Moeaki Fotuaika - both participating in their first session on Tuesday.
"I've just been chilling around locally so I thought I might as well come in a week earlier and train with the boys to get into a bit of a routine," Fotuaika told 7 News Gold Coast after his first session back.
"[The extra training] definitely shows how we want to go next year considering this year we didn't really go too well and I think all the boys agree with that."
The willingness and commitment to return early has really impressed coach Justin Holbrook and set the tone and intent for what's to come in the new season.
"We've had Jimmy Jolliffe join us early from his Ireland campaign. He's a great trainer for us and the rest of the boys are all due back officially soon," he said.
"Tino won't be back until the start of January, as will Isaac Liu and Kieran Foran, but it's been terrific because we've had we've had Kieran join us last week and he joined in for two training sessions he didn't have to.
"Tino's been in to check on all the boys and do a bit of training and Isaac Liu you called in last week and did a bit.
"It's great to have them float in, but can't wait for them to to join the main group and really accelerate pre-season, heading into the season."
The continued presence of the senior leaders in the playing group despite not officially returning has also given a huge boost to the rest of the squad who have returned, knowing how committed their peers are to turning around the results in 2023.
"It's great for the whole squad and it's awesome they're really keen and want to start," Holbrook said.
"Kieran actually wanted to keep training and I had to tell him to go and have a break and Tino is the same. He only arrived back in Australia last week and he already popped into training the next day.
"Those guys have been getting reports on how everyone else is training which is excellent. They definitely need a break, but I'm really looking forward on joining the squad as well."
