Finishing 2022 with a gruelling three-day camp to challenge the limits of the playing group, the focus of the last fortnight has been relax, unwind and reset ahead of what's to come in the new year - according to Titans head of physical performance Cameron Ferguson.
"The priority has been a bit of a recharge mentally and physically, as well as spending some time with family and friends," he said.
In saying that, there has been expectations and we’re still asking the players to come back in good shape physically.
"In the last eight weeks, they’ve been working towards individualised goals, so the expectation is to continue that when we get back."

Upon returning, players will continue to take part in training programs that remain in the pre-season phase, which will slowly begin to adapt to match intensity as the calendar counts down to the first ball being kicked.
"It’ll still be a pre-season block when we return for the next three weeks or so, and then we’ll slowly transition into an in-season regime and that’ll overlap with the trials," Ferguson said.
"There will be a bit of volume of work that we’ll do, but we’ll incorporate some match intensities through that period of time and integrate some of our guys into those trial matches (in early February).
"This transition will see a lot more more emphasis on recovery and days off, mixed with some heavy loads of training and high intensity stints of training, as well as refreshing our players up for our games on the weekends."
