Young gun to join Turner in Māori All Stars camp

Rising star Creedence Toia is the latest Titan to be called into the Māori All Stars, joining teammate Paul Turner in camp for next Saturday's clash in New Zealand.

The 22-year-old has been on a train-and-trial at Parkwood since November after joining the Burleigh Bears from the Canterbury Bulldogs and was preparing to play for the Gold Coast in next Sunday's first trial against the Broncos, up until receiving a late magical phone call to inform him of the change of plans.

Toia and Turner have been added to the men’s Māori All Stars alongside Tukimihia Simpkins, Leo Thompson, Austin Dias and Sheldon Pitama; replacing Daejarn Asi, Joseph Manu, Starford Toa, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.
