Gold Coast rake Chris Randall is set to miss this weekend's first trial after failing to finish training on Wednesday.

Scans have revealed a slight hamstring strain for the 27-year-old, which has ruled him out of the Sunday night showdown against the Brisbane Broncos at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

In other injury news, despite Aaron Schoupp suffering a slight cut to his face which saw him depart training on Wednesday, he has been given the all clear for his first game in Titans colours.
