The rugby league world went mad in 2013 when Roger Tuivasa-Sheck burst onto the scene as a flashy 20-year-old with an explosive step.
Who could've predicted a decade later, another Kiwi star is causing the same hysteria after a dream first outing in Gold Coast colours.
Keano Kini was only eight years old when the New Zealand premiership-winner debuted with the Sydney Roosters, but his young age didn't stop the Titans youngster from being an instant fan.
Growing up in the North Island much like his NRL idol, he spent his backyard footy days perfecting the iconic RTS step... a move he feels he still hasn't mastered, but has now adapted his own which was on full display against the Broncos.
"Oh I try [to be like Roger], but I like to have my own little step that's a bit different," he told 4BC's Wide World of Sports.

Kini into open space
Working towards being his own man, the 18-year-old was given his opportunity to impress in last Sunday's trial after graduating from the Future Titans program to the NRL's development list, ending his second half stint with a whopping 151 running metres, a line break and two tackle breaks.
Only finishing school last year at Palm Beach Currumbin, the experience was his first playing any type of top grade football, something the Australian Schoolboy relished with extreme confidence.
"Obviously, I was a little bit nervous before I went on the field, but listening to my family and the staff as well, I like to be confident in my own ability, so I just went out there and played eyes up footy and inject myself into the game where I could," Kini said.
"It was awesome to finally get a run with the big boys in the trial game. It was a cool crowd and I was just really excited to be involved in it.
"Coming out of school and to do the whole pre-season, it's cool to get rewarded and play in the trial.
"It was the first time playing against men, so it was really exciting."

"It was really cool to be named again this week," Kini said.
"It's such a cool opportunity, so hopefully I'll get a run in the later minutes of the game but if I do get an opportunity, then I'll be keen as."
Naturally, Kini's eventual goal is to play in the NRL but he's in no rush at all, happy to bide his time for the right opportunity to come.
"Coming out of school, you can't expect everything to come at once," he said.
"I just need to be patient and keep on learning, not only from the coaches but the players and people around me.
"I got a good family to keep me humble, so I'll just stay patient and be ready for the when the time comes."
